What is the difference between 4G Wifi and BT 4G Home Hub with EE SIM?

Th EE website currently has 2 options for 4G mobile broadband...

4G WiFi

BT 4G Home Hub with EE Sim
https://shop.ee.co.uk/auth/dongles/add-pay-monthly-mobile-broadband/bt-4g-home-hub-with-ee-sim/detai...

What is the difference between these?
Is one better than the other for picking up 4G signal?
Is the booster Antenna available for both options?

I'm looking for a broadband replacement option, and only have a weak 4G signal beside a window, so I think I would need an antenna fitted.

Thanks!

Your links require the reader to be logged into an EE contract mobile a/c. We don't all have those. So I link here to more universally acceptable pages:

  1. The 4GEE Wifi Mini is a battery-powered router with WiFi & USB connection, no Ethernet.
  2. The BT 4G Home Hub with EE SIM is a mains-powered router with WiFi & 1 Ethernet port.

Thank you!

Would this mean that the signal boosting antenna would only be viable with the mains powered option, BT 4G Home Hub?
