Hi. We have 4G broadband and it's been down since Saturday, Storm Darragh obvs. But the https://ee.co.uk/help/service-status page just says it's not working, and I don't have any mobile phone signal or landline to call 150.
Postcode is SY21 8QN, which shows on coverage maps as not having any EE, but we do connect, no matter what it says.
Any ideas how I can find out when whichever mast we usually connect to, that I assume is down, will be up and running again?
I can occasionally get some signal in the bathroom or when I walk up the hill near our house, hence these messages! But the 4G broadband receiver is getting none at all.
many thanks!

@benaldo1975 You can use WiFi calling, and the link that you’re referencing to you can actually subscribe to updates. It’s under the check service status tab.

Thanks @Chris_B but it's our broadband that's on the 4G. And the status checker page isn't working at all, and hasn't been for a couple of days...

@benaldo1975 You obviously have a connection somehow to be posting on here. Your 4G broadband is using the same network as your phone if you are using your phone to post on here. If that’s the case have you tried just restarting the router?

Hi @Chris_B - the router is on a different mast - EE technically say we can't get any signal here, but the receiver does.
I can occasionally get some signal to my work phone on a different network, hence these messages!

All EE devices use the exact same network signal, but some may have better radio performance in fringe areas than others.
The coverage predictions are based on radio conditions that most devices can reasonably use, so better performance on some is not unusual. Try using another local postcode for your status check.

Thanks but the receiver has a booster and is mounted on a separate building and was able to be connected to a mast that isn't otherwise reachable from the house. We live in a very remote and hilly area.
The connection I have now via my workphone, to talk to you, is not EE.
And as I said that status check service isn't working right now and hasn't been for two days now.

Hi @benaldo1975,
Welcome to the EE Community
I am sorry to hear about the signal issues you are having. I have double checked and the service status checker is definitely up and running at the moment. Have you tried accessing it via an alternative browser, or directly via the help section of the EE app?
Though as mentioned you would really need to know the postcode for the area of the mast you do use to make sure you are getting the correct info since your own postcode will report no coverage.
