UDM Pro > Huawei Router > Failover

Hi,

I have a UniFi OS UDM Pro 3.0.20, and it's been working perfectly fine. Additionally, I have a Huawei H122-373 router that is equipped with an EE SIM card, which is also functioning without any issues. The purpose of connecting the Huawei router to the UniFi system is to have a backup internet failover.

However, the problem I'm encountering is that the UDM Pro is not recognizing the EE SIM card, despite the fact that the internet is working perfectly fine on the Huawei router.

When I put an Vodafone Sim in the Huawei, the failover worked like a charm.

Just wondering If anyone else has had similar issues
Thanks

Sorted!!

Just incase anyone was having the same issue I have sorted this by going in to the Router settings and changing the apn settings from:

IPv4 & IPv6

To

Just IPv4

This fixed the issue and I now have the backup internet feeding through!!

Thanks

The Huawei is connected to the UDM and has the feature to be able to work as a failover if the main Internet goes down.
This has worked when using a Vodafone Sim.
