Top up not showing as add-on data

A few weeks ago I bought a mobile broadband router and SIM with 60 GB of data. As that data is nearly used up (only 2 GB left), I topped up the credit for the number. I can see that I have added 20 pound's worth of credit, but the data hasn't increased - it's still stuck at 2GB. Will I automatically get another 30GB of data when this expires? See attached screenshot.

These PAYG data SIMs don't auto add data when you run out. They come with a fixed amount of data which lasts for a fixed period (looks like in your case 2 months).

You now need to buy a data add-on which you can do by clicking on "Buy data" on the page above.

Thanks for the reply. I bought the "current credit" by clicking the "Buy data" button. I just want to know if the credit I have bought will actually result in a data add-on. Otherwise I have wasted 20 quid on absolutely nothing.

"Buy data" should do what it says & buy some data from your credit. If you had bought some data it would show on the "My data" page.

What does the "Buy data" page look like?

You won't have wasted your £20; you just haven't gone far enough yet.

The page looks just like the screenshot I posted in my first post.
Actually, I think I'll just wait a day or two until the remaining 2GB runs out, and see what EE does with the £20 of credit I bought.

I don't think so! The "Buy data" & the "My data"  tabs lead to distinctly diff pages. "Buy data" contains things like:

Yep, that's the one. In fact I even bought 20 pounds worth of data. My original data has now expired, and this is what I can now see. So I've spend 20 pounds on data, but can no longer get online because I have Omb of data left, but twenty pounds of credit.

You're still showing the wrong page. Click on the "Buy data" tab.

OK, this is what I see when I click the buy data button

But yesterday I had already bought 30GB for 20 quid, and that amount of credit now appears on the my data screen, but still with no GBs of data.
