I bought a 30 day data only sim for use in the car to created Wi-Fi which has now expired and data has been used and I cannot find a way to top the sim. I’ve tried from my mobile but as it is on Virgin mobile the ee app and website don’t work. The car can’t now connect to the web as the sim has no data and has gone beyond the 30 days. Feels like I’m going round in circles and suspect I’ve just wasted £30. Read multiple articles and community messages and no further on!!

Once registered to MyEE you can top-up & buy data from online MyEE.

Well I can’t!! There’s no way to do this via the car and the EE website says you need to be using EE to connect to their top up page, which is not possible as my mobile phone is connected to virgin! Given up trying to contact anyone at EE now so ordered new sim from virgin instead. Lesson learnt….!
