You can check coverage and network status at Check mobile coverage.
If the caravan site is in an area of limited reception, you may find a router which allows an external antenna to be connected to be helpful. An omni directional antenna attached to a pole outside the caravan can help with coverage, However it would be better (and less power used) if you get a directional external antenna, and call customer service for help with the direction to point it to your best local mast.
The data allowance really depends on if your camera is set to continuous streaming, or only when notified/manual access, as well as the camera resolution and so on.
