How is it I can buy numerous ee4g SIM cards with a static ip on line from various retailers but when I try to do it direct from ee they won't entertain me?

I tried to discuss this with Merton in the ee business section. He told me it was not possible to get a static IP address on s4g SIM card through ee even if I did open a business account! someone is confused somewhere! I will call them again I suppose!

Well Ive managed to get them in the past direct from EE although it was some time back now, and the Company I was representing was a Large Dot Gov Business.

Maybe its only Major Business, Corporates and Government type of Accounts?

Not true "Anyway those Fixed IP SIMs from 3GRouterStore require the use of a VPN at extra cost from them. That's how they manage to give you a static IP on their own network, not EE's. It also follows that any existing EE SIM you have cannot be turned into a static IP by such a method." I spoke to them direct. just pop in the sim as you would any other and you are away!

Yes, sorry, that's for Private IP addys 😞 .

You can get Static IP's on EE,  but it costs a lot to do, and its only for Enterprise Customers, who route traffic via their own network and Internet Breakout.

This is done via a Private APN's

I looked into this a while ago for work, and we couldn't believe the cost of setting this up.

And these plans will be through the likes of Gamma and other Mobile Distributors... so using their infrastructure... Just because its says its on EE doesnt mean its an EE sim card
