Smart 5G Hub 7 Pro - Missing core functionality like DHCP static IP assignment

Has anyone else found the functionality on the Smart 5G Hub 7 Pro (HH70C) to be lacking?

Being able to assign static IP's to devices on a LAN is surely core functionality that one might expect from a router? Or being able to set DDNS?

Has anyone found any workarounds, or hidden menus/pages that offer additional functionality?

Hi @squiggleh

It's an ISP free router which 99.5% of people will just plug and play.

If you want more functionality then I recommend buying your own router which will provide more services and likely better WiFi.

@squiggleh : EE's mobile routers are not free. You take out a contract on them, just like a mobile phone. They with their SIMs are the connection, unlike fixed Home BB where the router is just a means to an end & may be discarded & replaced.
