Hello: can anyone help: I have a ee smart 4g hub and the wifi keeps dropping out (usually about 24 hours after it last did it), even though the signal is strong. So I restart it and it works fine immediately. Any suggestions?

I have exactly the same issue with the same router - every day it drops the internet connection. The hub seems to be working fine and shows 4 bars or more, the wifi signal remains working but the devices show connected without internet. The only thing that works is restarting the hub then it's fine for around a day. There's no work etc going on in my area.

I have this issue too. It seems to drop out every week or so. V annoying. Please can anyone else speak up so that EE work on a fix.

Have you spoken with our technical team about this yet? They will be able to look into this further and if needed, raise this to another team to investigate if it's something more complex that they cannot resolve for you.

I'm also having this issue, I usually have to restart the router around twice a day, no error light just no internet. Usually 5 or 4 bar signal. It also doesn't like downloading big files like games to my xbox or adobe software updates, just starts flashing red and I have to restart the download.

Sorry to hear you are having some issues with your 4G Hub. When there is no error light but no internet, is that effecting devices connected both by ethernet and WiFi?
When it happens have you tested that multiple connected devices are effected and not just the one you are using at that moment?
Have you tried a full factory reset of the hub at all?

Hi, I'm having the same issues. Every day or two the connection slows and usually stops, the hub still has Internet connection and the devices are still connected to it, but they have no Internet connection. I have to frequently restart it.
It affects all connected devices, phones, TV, Xbox, laptop. Can happen even when I'm in the same room as the hub so it's not just weak wifi signal either. Surely there is some sort of fix for this by now?
