Hello
I just go 5G in our area and the EE router is messing about (it was great with the old 4G) So I am trying to set up a TP-link 5 G router Archer NX200 with my EE Data Sim. The signal is strong but shows as No Internet.
I have spoken to TP-link support and they have asked me to find out.
Specifically, ask about the EE connection type (e.g., PPPoE or dynamic IP) and whether EE they can provide the VLAN ID if one is necessary.
Can anyone help me with completing the TP-link Router set up with EE?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

I appreciate this is an older thread and I may not help op or contributors but, as others may find this on a search, I'll post what worked for me.
If you log onto router, under >Basic>Internet, you'll probably find the dial-up settings have defaulted on detection of EE sim. Within these settings, TP-Link will have set PDP Type as IPv4 & IPv6. This needs to be IPv4 - all other settings are correct.
Make a note of all settings, then go to >Advanced>Network>Mobile WAN to create a new profile. Replicate all settings EXCEPT PDP Type, which should be IPv4. Save this profile & select it as current profile & save.
Before I did this, only my laptop would connect. Everything else, including phone, Sky puck, Philips Hue, printer, etc. all failed. Hope it works for others.

@blackpet : You appear to have been talking with TP-Link about a fixed Home BB router when you have a mobile router. PPPoE & VLAN IDs only apply to fixed BB. Did you tell them you had their 5G router?
You many need to check its Profile/APN against EE APN Settings

Did you get a fix for this?
I was told the same by TP Link support but I've still not been able to find a resolution. At first Sky wouldn't connect to the Internet through the NX200 and now I can't run my iptv either. If I'm going through the NX200 everything just hangs and I get messages like 'not connected' or 'channel not available'.
If I disconnect the router and hotspot to the tv via my phone with an EE sim everything works fine. If I use an old router with the same sim that's in the NX200 everything works fine.
I'm at the end of my tether and can't think of anything else to try.

Thank you SOOOOO much Carl! I was so baffled and frustrated at being able to get my laptop on the same wifi network to connect to the internet but none of the other devices I connected. It was so confusing. I don’t understand why this change fixed it, but thank you for figuring it out and sharing.

Thanks for your kind words but I can't really lay claim to figuring it out - that kudos goes to an awesome EE adviser on their helpline but, unfortunately, I didn't get his name & didn't get a feedback survey.
I was as baffled as everyone but, as the laptop connection proved it wasn't an EE SIM issue, I knew it was a TP-Link setting somewhere. I (correctly) assumed someone from EE would know the answer, even though it was a bit cheeky to ask when the problem wasn't theirs. I FELL LUCKY - I dialled 150 & went through the options to get mobile technical advice and got an awesome adviser who actually listened without going through the usual patronising script & we actually had a grown-up conversation. I couldn't confirm it worked whilst on the call as I couldn't remember where to set up a new profile but .......he'd told me what to lookout for.
If one of the EE team can track the adviser I spoke to, please pass on my thanks.

As it happens the APN Protocol of IPV4 only has been all over this forum for years.
