Hi all,
I recently had a replacement EE Smart Hub sent to me (had a BT smart hub 2 but started overheating), and since installing it, I’ve been experiencing frequent Wi-Fi dropouts that never occurred with my previous router on the same line and setup.
The broadband connection itself seems fine, but the Wi-Fi signal keeps dropping out intermittently. I’ve already raised this with EE, and they are just saying they cannot see any faults their side.
I’m looking for some advice from the community on whether there are any specific router settings I can try adjusting myself to help improve Wi-Fi stability and reduce dropouts.
Has anyone else had similar issues with EE Smart Hubs and found settings like changing Wi-Fi channels, adjusting Wi-Fi power settings, or anything else that helps? Also, anything about router configuration that could mitigate signal loss would be great to know.
I am running the latest firmware and have kept the environment the same—no new devices or structural changes at home—so it seems the new hub may need some tuning.
see below technical log information
Thanks in advance for any tips or guidance!

@ams_sxi Keep an eye on the size and page count growth off the Advanced Technical logging, after 7 day's switch the hub power off, when it is back up and working go look at the log pages again, if you have the same or more then Factory reset it to clear them all out!

@ams_sxi You can let us know, will not be doing the neighbours for a couple months from now, past experience was way back end off Mar update was 1st Apr to same as your FW, rate the router at 2 out of 10!
