Replacing 4G EE mini router with TP-Link AC750 - is it worth a try?

Hi all

I just bought an EE 4g router (the little white thing) and i've found a decent enough place in house (upstairs bedroom by the window) where i get 4/5 bars. I get around 25/30mbps on speed test so it will do for now whilst I'm waiting for my home broadband to be installed.

However I'm running it a 5ghz which means the range is not great and my TV downstairs can't pick up the wifi.

Would something like a TP-Link AC750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 4G Router not only improve the wifi range in the house but also improve the 4G signal (as in will it pick up the signal better?)?

Any tips greatly appreciated!

ian

You can switch the 4GEE WiFi Mini into 2.4 GHz WiFi. It's 1 or the other.

In my opinion the absolute best 4G Router at present is HUAWEI B818-263  . The Vodafone model is easily unlocked or get HUAWEI Model.  This transformed my reception.
