hello, newbie here 🙂
I purchased an EE mifi a few months ago, and it worked fine with an EE sim for a couple of months. I then cancelled the (rolling monthly) contract. Subsequently, i ordered another Sim from a different provider, but it did not work. I have confirmed that the mifi device is unlocked, and have also tried my own phone sim in it, but still doesn't work. I am very confused. Any help/suggestions much appreciated.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

You wouldn't be logging in via your EE a/c but directly into the router. Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the admin password found under the battery cover.

Hi @tina135
Welcome to the community.
If your EE SIM is switched off and the device is unlocked, you may need support from your new provider to get the settings for the router to use it on their network.

thank you Christopher. i did get some info on the APN settings, but no assistance as to how i could change them, given it is a mifi and not a mobile. i wasn't clear as to whether i needed to login via EE (which presumably not, as no EE sim active). its a real learning curve !
i appreciated your quick response 🙂
