Trying to link my 4GEE dongle in myEE account. Inserted mobile number of the dongle, then it tells me to verify with passcode number. Says to login to retrieve sms message with passcode number. The enter password box comes up and is filled in with
my EE password - BUT then says invalid password - Any Ideas

Hi @IainBissell,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Are you logging to your router using 'admin' as the username and password?

You need to login to your router to read the SMS sent to it. Its admin pwd isn't your MyEE pwd but its own written on the label found on it.

Sounds easy but I’m not tech savvy how do I log onto the device?

Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the admin password found under the battery cover.

Welcome to the EE Community, @Baylen23
To view your text inbox, log in to your router at http://192.168.1.1/.
You can find the username and password on your 'keep me card'.
Hope this helps.

@Baylen23 : Most mobile routers can receive texts. Login to it & look for the SMS Section/Inbox.

I was able to log into the router but can't find any way of receiving/reading SMS texts on it - there doesn't seem to be any option available, and no alert appeared when sending the text. What do I do now? Is there a way of sending the text somewhere else? Or do I have to spend 30+ mins on the EE helpline :=(
