EE 5G Smart Hub disappointment.

Today I get my EE 5G Smart Hub and I'm disappointed. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but this is not what I expected.

I get 4 bars 5G signal here in Bayswater, London but the speeds 6-20 Mb/s. Only when I first turn it on It was 100Mb/s for about 20 seconds. So Am I doing something wrong or 5G is the same as 4G or worse?

After a few months of working good. I mean 30-80 mb/s today again it's not working. I don't think it's worth paying £50 to be honest. I have also vodafone in my mobile phone and it's 5g is better today, 60-100 mb/s.

@Prorok7 As it has been working ok the past few months but stopped yesterday, have you checked the status checker linked in the previous reply for any potential faults in the area that started recently?

I would cut my loses and run if I were you. The router has so many bugs but as the manufacturer says it's EE software and that's what causes problems. They have replaced mine once. Don't solve problem. Tried 1st & 2nd line support - both useless, it's either you have it in the wrong place (not moved), just "reboot it" - "oh we don't cover that area" well that's funny cos I get 5g it's the router that's the issue,  reboot what 20 times a day !!? buy another make and sell the EE !
