Cannot link my business broadband SIM

StephenMott

I tried to add my broadband SIM when I got it a few months ago, but it gave an error, so I ignored it. However now I need to do download the bills for the accounts, and I still can't link it. When I try it takes the number, sends the modem a text with the code, I enter the code then, tick the checkbos and it just says:

We couldn’t find any products using the mobile number: 07 etc...

Help..

Hi @StephenMott

Welcome to the community.

If you haven't already, can you try to link the number through the EE app and on the website?

It is also worth trying another browser or device to see if that helps.

If you are still seeing the same thing happen, I'd recommend speaking to our business team so they can look into this further for you.

Yea, I've tried multiple browsers, the app on 2 phones (though on my phone it also has my private mobiles) - though the apps just redirect to the same page on the website, all give the same error, it's like EE doens't think it owns the number, except it sends the txt with the code through OK..? They all end up with:

Thanks for trying @StephenMott

With it happening on different browsers and not recognising the number at all, I'd definitely recommend giving our business team a call so they can look to get it linked up for you.

Michael

I'd love to, but I couldn't find any on-line chats or support number to call only a link to the community site..?

You can see all of the ways to reach the business team on our business contact us page.

Michael

Thanks, I'll give it a go..

Great. Please keep me posted with how you get on @StephenMott.

Michael

In case anyone ends up here from searching, apparently its a know fault with business accounts, so they're having to send the invoices via post, they don't know when it'll be fixed, and they're not going to tell you when it's fixed, so you just have to keep trying to link the sims.. I guess the free postal versions will stop when it's fixed..?

Why they can't just say that instead of the error message when you try and link a sim, I don't know..
