Cancelling mobile broadband contract

I got a rolling monthly contract as it was only needed for a few months.

I was told in the EE shop I could cancel it on "MyEE" section of the website. I've been round and round and I can't work out how to do it!

I have to cancel it tonight, I can't make phonecalls, please help! Cheers.

It is not possible to cancel online. You need to phone CS and give 30 days notice of cancellation of your contract.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I can't make phonecalls due to disability and they knew this when I bought the contract. It'll be days and days until I can get someone to help me phone, and I'm here now, wanting to cancel it 😞 They promised I could do it online.

Empty promises 😞

You may also cancel in writing by giving your notice of cancellation at:

EE Customer Services

Include your name, address, EE account number and/or EE mobile number.

Your 30-days notice will be taken from when they receive your letter.

Thank you. But the chances of a mobile company that's already lied to me about this, honouring the date they received a letter, are too slim for me to contemplate.

I've booked an appointment to go into a shop and will demand they sort it out there and then.

It shouldn't be this difficult!

Thank you for your suggestions.

Also, I have no idea what the mobile number is, so a letter wouldn't work.

Don't you have it registered under your MyEE?

Yes, although it's under mobile rather than broadband. But I can't find where to see the number.

It is a mobile number. BB is for fixed BB not mobile.

You should be able to see your account number under My EE Mobile. This will do just as well as the mobile number in a letter.

This is all I see under that. Any idea exactly where to find the mobile number please?
