Hi the EE COMUNNITY :)

CherryM
Explorer

I have just bought a sim with a package of 120 GB valid for a year to use it as an alternative to my weak wifi connection at my flat. Thought I have bought it without an EE router/ modem I thought it might work in the huawei one I have been left with after buying it and using all its data earlier. Is anyone able to tell me it that should work perfectly and will that be ok for that EE SIM<?>, as I heard the HUAWEI 4G+ router/ dongle is open to any network ( what I will check up after trying sim in it).
Do I need to log in into my EE account and activate the sim there first? then plug it into the device? How the procedure does look like? Can anyone help?:) I would be grateful. Thank You.

Hi, @CherryM , welcome.

Where did you get that HUAWEI mobile router? Was it used on EE before?

It should work fine with an EE SIM provided it is unlocked or locked to EE.

You need not register it to MyEE. Just use it.
