Can't Link Device in EE Account

Hello, I have looked for assorted solutions, but I have my first 4G WiFi dongle to get online via laptop, but in order to remove the automatically applied moderate content block, I need to access EE, but after logging in and reaching the "Good Morning, Link your device" page, and I click the Mobile Broadband option, the only two sets of "account" numbers that I have—one on the delivery sheet that came with the dongle, and the other the one that appears on the EE Status page, showing how much of my monthly allowance has been used, each account  number is not only different, but is longer than the 9 digit number that is allowed in the device box! I don't have a monthly bill letter yet, as the dongle is brand new, so maybe that will have another account number on it that will work, but if anyone can suggest any ideas I will be grateful.

A mobile router is a mobile device as it contains a SIM & therefore has a mobile no.

There is no Mobile BB option in MyEE. I believe you are clicking on the Home BB option which is only for fixed-line BB. You should be clicking on the Mobile Devices option & adding it there.

Thank you for your response. I did try clciking  the option "Link EE Mobile or SIM", and the message appears that "We will send you a passcode to check it is you" and the box for an eleven digit "Mobile number" is beneath, to which they will send the passcode, but I don't know which number they mean I should type. However, the account number on the status page, for how much monthly data has been used, is an eleven digit number, so could this be the one? Thank you.

Just pasted the number, and once again only 9 digits is being allowed into the box, and not the whole 11 numbers. Very confusing.

Correction; by typing the number in manually the whole number was accepted. But where will the passcode be found when the send it! So it got send to the 4G wifi page, but, when I used it to enter the site, they now show a partly concealed number that ends with 4 digits of an account that doesn't match either of my numbers, and they are saying if this looks right I should click the option to link this product. The puzzle  gets deeper and deeper. I can't imagine what will happen if I click it and still can't remove the content lock.

Forget a/c nos. (they're for fixed BB only). It wants your SIM's mobile phone no. It will be on the SIM's packaging, starting '07' like all UK mobile nos., or browse to http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see your mobile no. at the top. Is that the status page you are talking about? If so, it should be staring you in the face.

What box? Show image of it. UK mobile nos. are 11 digits starting '07'.

Most mobile routers can receive texts. Login to it & look for SMS section.

When you used what to enter what site? I don't understand that bit at all. Start using pix of what you see.

Thank you. That status page account number is the one I used, but the one they partly concealed in the final step box to link the device, if it looks correct, didn't match the last four digits of the account number I used. I think a phone call to them next Monday will be the only way to solve this, but thank you anyway. I appreciate it.

This is the box that appears after my successful use of the 07.... status page account number and SMS passcode are usedm but the last 4 digits do not match the end ones of the 07... account number:
