I am using a EE sim card in a mobile router (zte888) I have a house phone plugged into the router but cannot receive texts. Is there a way I can turn of text messaging to a sim card so it does not receive them or is there a third party app which will let me see text messages on a computer without the sim being in an android phone.

@M0GAD0N : You don't need an app to see the texts on the mobile router. Login to it  from a PC connected to it by WiFi & look for the SMS Section/Inbox.

Is the house phone plugged into the router cuz it is a VoIP phone?

It's just a BT wireless phone, works fine when plugged into router.

I shall log into giga cube and see if I can find sms, many thanks.

Oh, I don't think DV works over the mobile network. So I can understand, what model BT phone is it?

OK, it's an ordinary DECT cordless phone. Why's it plugged into a router & where?

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & trust it is now sorted.

The ZTE mc888 has a phone port on the rear to plug a normal phone into. The router is in my motorhome and it gives me a fixed landline for the vehicle. What's the point of unlimited calls if you can't use them 🙂
