I have been ringing since 8 this morning it just tells me to ring back during normal office hours

The teams only opened at 10am, so you should be able to get through now @AGB657.
Some departments will be closed today, but if you are choosing the billing option, the team will be available.

not a chance it just tells me to ring back during normal office hours . i cant pay my bill because for 2 years now i have been unable to add the home broadband to my online account so every month i have to ring and pay it over the phone. i missed it this month and now im cut off and cant get an answer on 150 to pay it.

If you are cut off now, it may be that it is trying to direct you to our collections guides, but they aren't available today for broadband accounts @AGB657.
Are you able to choose another option such as discussing your bill?

y options other than option 1 for mobile phones or option 2 for home broadband then it rings once and a recorded message comes on to tell me that due to the festive season the hours have changed and to call back during normal office hours

As I mentioned above, it sounds like it would be trying to automatically pass you to our collections team, who are closed.
If you have a mobile plan as well, you could try to go through that option and they can transfer you to billing.
If not, you can try to call from another phone and if that still doesn't work, you would need to call tomorrow.

Yes most of those are for phones unfortunately i cant use the website or the app because for two years ive never been able to add the home broadband to my APP or the online account. I tried going to phone and see if i could transfer but it just tells me i have no outstanding phone bill same with pay by text. Looks like i will just have to wait until tomorrow.
