Ex employee shortfall letter

I have received a letter in the post stating I am entitled to a shortfall payment as I was part of the 'buy holiday' scheme between 2018-2022 where the pay temporarily dipped below National minimum wage. It's asking me to fill in a form to claim this but no form was included, also the contact email looks a bit suspicious [email protected].  My old employee number and my full name is on the letter.

Could someone please confirm if this is a scam?

I spoke to HR this morning who confirmed it is legit and to just email the [email protected], I would of much preferred them to take the details and pass them on rather than giving my details over and email...... Is there anyway around this.....

I have also recieved this letter. Unsure if its true I have rang BT employee helpline they said cant verify as I couldnt remember my BT id number.

I have sent an email to the to [email protected] stating my bank details to pay it into and now im worries.

The letter is legitimate mate

I was also sceptical. I didn't have my BT id but when I rang they verified me under my address and postcode etc

Brilliant news then.

Who did you call because I just rang BT hr and they said i wouldnt be replying to that email address.

Can you provide a number specifically to confirm my details please ?

No one asked me to verify any details when I spoke to HR they just said I would have to send the email.....I emailed them yesterday just to try and get some clarity before I gave any details but I haven't heard back from them, I left EE almost four years back

I just called BT HR and chose payroll option. Don't have the number to hand.

After sending all my details to the email address they confirmed that the date on the letter was the pay cut off date for June and the payment would be made in July pay run minus tax and national insurance.

It took them around 3/4 days to respond so I reckon they have a back log

I received the same letter and I rang HR they took my email address and now I have received a email to say I owe EE money ( first I have head of this) and nothing about the money that I am owed.. Can you please look in to this for me as I am really confused now and it's saying they need my bank information before the 17th.

Good afternoon!

I sent an email on the 30th June and I still have not had a response… how long do I need to wait for?

Thanks,

Sarah

Hi @Tarann71

Is this debt you owe to EE?

Sorry but your message makes no sense.

Thanks
