Why does it seem such an issue to get the Xbox game pass activated?. Five phone calls later and the resolution was to credit £60 to my broadband bill and then pay for the Xbox pass on my mobile bill. Fair enough I thought, but now when trying to activate the pass it keeps having ‘Technical issues’ and to try back later. EE maybe the UK’s biggest network, but it’s certainly riddled with faults !! Not happy at all 😡

Try activating it using a different web browser, that's the fix I had which the EE technical support advised when I reported my issue to them last week. I was trying to activate it using Safari on my iPhone and in the end using Chrome fixed the issue.

I have tried Chrome and it says it is activated, but on the app it is still saying it needs to be activated and it’s definitely not working on the Xbox. I’m starting to give up on the whole thing !! 😡😡😡

I’d give it 24 hours, I’m sure that’s how long it took for me. If not call up EE support, they sorted it for me in 1 call.
