Wired connection for PS5 not getting close to speed guarantee

Hey, has anyone got any advice before I call EE? I have a wired connection to my ps5 but its only getting 130mb download when I pay for 500mb with speed guarantee. ps5 is next to router. Any ideas how to improve this? I have set the additional settings to automatic mode

Hi @danofleon01 

  1. What cat cable are you using.
  2. Have you tried anything else connected to the same cable.
  3. Can you try connecting to WiFi and ensuring your PS5 wifi settings are set to 5GHz only.

Your speed checker on the PS5 goes via the  PSN network. I find WiFi better (set to 5GHz) over ethernet on my PS5, but as the adapter is not great and the PSN network can be slow sadly.
