Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 6 Month Won't Activate

Similar to a few others on this forum, i have recently upgraded my BT broadband but been merged with EE as part of my phone contract.

As part of the new broadband, i have had a text saying my package includes Xbox game pass ultimate for 6 months. It will be ready in the next 14 days. Visit ee.co.uk/go/gaming.

This text was received on the 13th May (well over the 14 days suggested by EE) and every time i go to the link, log in with my EE account the web page simply says "this service isn't working right now". I have tried all the suggestions i could find such as trying on wifi/mobile data, different web browsers etc, clearing cookies but all result in the same error being shown.

I know this has happened with others and people have had their code simply emailed over to them or a mod has made private contact to activate for them.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @cjs98 Have you set up your EEID: https://ee.co.uk/help/profile/registration-setup/register-for-ee-ID and tried to claim the Game Pass from your online account?

Hi John,

I already have an EEID as my phone contract was already with EE. I can't see once logged in where i can claim the game pass, if i click on "Plans & Subscriptions" it just shows Mobile. Even on "My EE Add-ons & Benefits" page where i can add TNT Sports, Apple Music etc it doesn't show up.

Hi @cjs98, thanks for the update. 
Have you managed to add your broadband account number to the EEID?
Are you checking on a PC/Laptop as the Game Pass won't show on the mobile app?

Unless this is done automatically I haven't added my broadband account number to my EEID. How do i do this?

Yes, i am checking on a PC.

Hi @cjs98, it won't happen automatically. You can try this when logged into your EEID: Click My Account from the Main menu and then 'Add an Account'
Or you can set up the Broadband EEID with a different email address if it won't link for you as above.

@cjs98 I'm really sorry you're getting an error, if you give us a call a guide will be able to raise a case to get your New account added to the EE ID.

I have just upgraded my plan to all rounder and added Xbox pass and when I enter the activation pin comes up not working right now tried for past 2 days - any help please?
