I’ve got a ps portal and when I try use my EE hotspot the data never works. It says can’t find connection. I just don’t understand why EE would sell ps portals for they’re phone data to not work as a hotspot

I solved my PS Portal 0x83200111 connection error.
I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max (eSim) with unlimited data tariff. iOS version 26.5.2
Go to Settings-->General-->About and change your iPhone name into something very easy. I put just "17" (without commas).
Go to Settings-->Personal Hotspot and turn off Maximise Compatibility
On your PS Portal:
Settings-->Network-->Set Up Internet Connection-->Set Up Manually // make sure you forget your old iPhone hot spot network
Network Name (SSID): your iPhone name you set up
Security Method: WPA3-Personal
Password: password for your phone's hot spot
IP Address Setting: Manual
IPv4 Address: 172.20.10.5
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
Default Gateway: 172.20.10.1
Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1 (or 8.8.8.8) // I used 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS: 1.0.0.1 (or 8.8.4.4) I used 0.0.0.0 and did not test the other two
Proxy Server: Don't Use
Connect to Hidden Network: On
Use Randomised MAC Address: Off
Hope this will work for you.
If needed I can try to make a video and throw it on the youtube - if it helps
