I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and hotspot works fine with all of my devices.
however, for some reason I cannot hotspot to my recently purchased PS Portal. Please could you advise what if anything I need to do to get this to work as it seems EE have some sort of restrictions in place.
thanks in advance

Hi @Joe179
Thanks for coming to the community.
Can you connect the PS5 Portal to other devices?
Do you get an error message when you try and hotspot to the PS5 Portal?

Hi Leanne,
PS Portal connects fine to my WiFi.
Put an error message appears when I try to connect it to my EE network iPhone (instead of using WiFi)

Hi @Joe179
What error message do you get?
If you go into your iPhone Settings, Personal Hotspot, do you have Maximise Compatibility turned on?

I’m also interested if it helped you out.
This is the only way I could get my iPhone 15 to work as a hotspot to my portal.
My understanding was it would never work due to the Nat type not being compatible. One uses Nat 2 and the other uses Nat 3.
After having my portal for 3 months, this is the only thing that worked for me, spent hours online looking for a solution.
Spoke to EE tech support and did everything they said and I could never get it to connect.
Had the same error code as Joe was getting,
works perfectly now
