I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and hotspot works fine with all of my devices.
however, for some reason I cannot hotspot to my recently purchased PS Portal. Please could you advise what if anything I need to do to get this to work as it seems EE have some sort of restrictions in place.
thanks in advance

Can I ask what this does, before I install it? It says that traffic can be monitored when I go to install on phone - is this safe or am I leaving my device at risk?
many thanks

I know this is now an old(ish) thread, but if anybody finds it, I got this working after completing multiple steps. I am in the UK using an iPhone 14 with iOS 18.1.1
I set a static IP for my PS5 on my home router.
I forwarded the following TCP/UDP ports on my home router - 987, 8572 and then the range 9295 to 9308
I then followed the steps in the below video on my PS Portal. The only thing I did that was different to the video was the name of the network (hotspot) I was connecting to and its password (both of which can be found on your iPhone), everything else I did exactly as demonstrated.

I am now able to connect my Portal to my phone's hotspot and have it connect back to my PS5.
