Ps Portal hotspot android

Hi, I have recently bought a ps portal and it all works well with my home wifi  but when connecting to my mobile hotspot from my S24 ultra I can not access my playstation. I can play on the stream feature but when trying to connect to my ps5 it fails. If anyone has any tips please respond. I have been with EE for more then 10 years now and I would not want to change the network provider just for this. Very much appreciated!

Hi @LiviuDamian

There has been some discussion in the past regarding using mobile data when connecting to My Playstation.

You may find it useful to have a look at this thread.

Try changing your Access Point Name settings on your device to use IPv4 for the APN Protocol. On a Samsung this is under Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names.

Create a new APN Profile, copying the details from the default "internet" and just changing the "APN Protocol" setting to IPv4 instead of IPv4/IPv6.

You can also find a guide on the APN Settings here in case you get stuck: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Mobile-Data/EE-APN-Settings-Where-to-find-them/td-p/1145404

The instructions above may vary depending on which Android device you have.

If the above does not work, then the problem will be on your Home Network.
