Absolutely disgusted with EE - Gamecard

So I purchased the Xbox console add on which included a £150 gamecard, a 24 month live subscription & the console, firstly I had to chase the subscription that finally came then I've waited over 3 weeks & numerous calls to ee to finally get the gamecard on Christmas eve this was going to be a present for my son. I go to redeem the gamecard & it's got zero credit on it. I'm furious not only could they have given it me weeks ago when I was asking but this time they gave it me instantly but now I'm left with no way to contact anyone before Christmas day tomorrow I'm also going to have to chaser it with black hawk network who are notorious for not getting back to you. I'LL NEVER USE EE AGAIN ONCE MY CONTRACT IS UP!

I've had the same issue they're a joke I finally told them today I needed it for Christmas day & magically they send it within minutes but the £150 is not on the card it's got zero balance I'll never use EE again 

That's insane they just sent you an empty card. If they can just issue cards like that why have we both been waiting so long for this to get fixed. It just seems like they're enjoying us jumping through hoops for no reason

I am sorry about the experience you have had with your Game Card, I understand that will definitely be disappointing.  If you have been given the e-mail to contact our fulfilment team at  Blackhawk due to the issue with the Game Card, the timescale we advise for them to respond is 48 hours. But with the time of year it may take a little bit longer for a response.

If you do need further assistance after speaking to Blackhawk please give our team a call on 150 who can escalate the issue for you.

I'm having the same issue. Ordered a ps5 for my son for Xmas with an £150 EE gamecard and it's coming up with a verification error message. Need it sorting. Unbelievable how many people I've seen having the same issue.

Like @Alex_H mentioned, if you're struggling to make purchases with your GameCard, you can flag this with our fulfilment team by sending an email to bhneegaming@waivpay.com.

literally loads of people with the same “zero balance”’issue all told to email a third party who just ignore you for weeks. 

next step has to be trading standards or even a class action lawsuit. 

Ordered PS5 Black Friday bundle  on 26th November, arrived 2 days later minus the £150 gamecard, but included the four £50 Playstation vouchers for the 2 years PSplus. Makes absolutely no sense to include one but not the other! 

Chased the matter numerous times with EE and whilst they were extremely helpful it still took almost a month to receive a code, which on trying to redeem on Christmas morning didnt work and when we looked closer, we worked out that that the code should be 11 digits, the code that was sent only has 10. I have been told that I have to email the firm that are responsible for the gamecards, which is pointless because that was the first thing I did, a month ago and they still haven' replied!! 

Surely there is some sort of breach of contract on a big scale happening here. I'm considering seeking legal advice.

mate dont bother contacting Black Hawk Network, I emailed them a month ago, and now I have just rang them and they dont want to know. The deny any knowledge and tell you to contact EE, extremely rude, barely understandable and continually spoke over me. In the end I got so angry I told him to go and f*@k himself and hung up.

It’s disgusting that we have to contact a third party in the first instance. 

There is clearly a scam of massive proportions being undertaken by Black Hawk Network. They are literally sending out zero balance game cards and probably pocketing the money or using them themselves.

the fact that EE literally do not care that you can’t get a reply out of them just shows what a shoddy company they are.

chargeback the card you used for the value of the card. Don’t let them get away with it.
