Having updated the app it now fails to work. Takes nearly 2 mins to open at login, asks for name and password, although I have always used fingerprint, then just shuts down. Can only access EE account online.Have cleared cache, unistalled app, reinstalled app restarted phone all to no avail. Never had a problem over to past years until this update

Do you have battery saver mode switched on in the device settings?
You can check this by opening device settings menu and tap on 'Battery and device care and then 'Battery' option. If so, could you try turning this off and try and log in, does this work?
