EE has the worst website ever! For such a massive company who’s internet can land planes you have a website that never works! An online payment system that takes the money out of you bank but doesn’t register on your amount owed, and god forbid you want to upgrade online because that is just impossible, asks you to log in to upgrade so I log in, gets to check out asks you to log in, so you log in and you are still not logged in 🤯 it’s been like this for years! It’s constantly on going,

So it’s not just me, I have been trying to add an extra sim for an elderly relative, I log into the app, click add an extra sim at the top of the screen it says I’m logged in but in the bottom part it says log in for existing customer discount. If I follow that link and then log in again it takes me to a blank page.
Same if I try to go to the shop without logging in, when I come to check out I log in and end up stuck in an endless loop of logging in while being logged in.
It is most annoying.

Sorry to hear you're both facing an issue with placing an order online.
Can you perform the following steps:
Log out of the online account, close the page completely, open a blank page, please the browser cookies and cache, then log back in and try again?

I have tried this and nothing has changed. I have also tried a different iOS device both on WiFi and using we mobile data and logging in through windows.
I even tried logging in to a different EE account and have the same issue.

Thanks for getting back to me with this.
I'd definitely recommend calling Customer Care so the technical team can check your EE online account is set up correctly.
If everything is set up correctly they'll be able to raise a ticket to get this resolved for you.

Hi thanks for the reply, I tried calling and sat on hold for longer than I am willing to.I also tried the “message us” option in the app which seems to be an ai that always loops back to “call us”.
I then tried the online store again and it still just loops back to a blank page with the heading “what do you want to do today”.
so far, no joy

I'm really sorry to hear that you've still had no joy getting this sorted @Tender1984 It sounds like it's very frustrating for you.
Do you live anywhere near a store? You can book an appointment with a guide who can take you through some options.

Hi there, thanks for the advice.
in the end I tried to order a subscription pack as that would be fine for the elderly relative.
this ended up with me getting a “we need more information, call us” email.
i ended up on the phone with a very helpful EE agent that tried to sort out an extra line for me. I tried to get the advertised 5gb fixed data £10 per month deal as per EEs website.
the agent found a better deal at £8 p/m but when they tried to add it it didn’t work, the agent then tried £10p/m and £13p/m plans that the system wouldn’t add. At this point the agent got a manager and the outcome is despite these plans being on the website they are being fazed out and you can’t actually buy them, the cheapest they could do would be £18p/m. An 80% increase over the plans advertised on the website.
For obvious reasons I did not go ahead with this and got a sim from another network. The service agent was very helpful but this is a disgraceful bait and switch tactic from EE.

How about you just sort out your useless website. I want to download bills - I thought that would be simple but no! - EE prefers to spend all our money on celebrity ambassadors. SORT OUT YOUR WEBSITE - I'm sick of spending so much time going around in circles to no avail.
