Hi can anyone help I have a random notification on my EE app when it’s closed and I don’t know what it is? I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app yet it’s still there ???

EE app has a notification count and does not clear.
Uninstalled and deleted app, reinstalled and even before login in the notification count shows up straight away.

The app is full of bugs, it’s not just one there are several all over, if it wasn’t for having broadband with them I’d ditch app altogether but as it gives easier interface to the router I’m kind of stuck, just today two more errors appeared really not great

I’ve had to disable notifications altogether to get rid of the annoying badge icon

It’s really bad, feels like they don’t test there software prior to release

I am having the exact same issue on an iPhone 15. I have tried logging out, the message still shows as a 1 on the app itself. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling same issue even when not logged in

Hi

I am having the same issue. I have tried turning push notifications on but it seems to keep defaulting to off

Hi @MarianGlenister ,

A small number of customers are seeing a notification on their EE app. We are investigating why this notification is displaying incorrectly, and we’re working to fix this.

James

Ok thanks do you know when this will be resolved?

Hello

I just wanted to express my issues with EE and the app

Unfortunately I'm starting to lose all hope with EE resolving this issue. I had countless issues since March this year from ordering my broadband and taking almost 3 months to have it installed although this was not just EE it was OpenReach,  but in reference to the app itself is just full of bugs, it feels like EE don't test there releases and whilst I appreciate that not everyone is seeing issue, this should not be the excuse they use when contacting them, I pretty much feel fobbed off, I really don't think they care about sorting it, all I/we can do is hope they resolve it soon, cause there will be more people out there with the same issue but not realising,

Although their complaints team are very friendly, there isn't much they can do either. I simply got we're aware of the problem it happens to some customers but as long as you can access your bills then what's the problem and that's how it's been left not the answer I wanted they did raise it internally, apparently, though I've never heard anything since and this was several weeks ago.

I have further issues with the broadband side on the app, I get error message on several screens although the content does load there error remain and you can't even add any extras to my account even when it says add, you get and error message saying an error occurred we are working on fixing it, try again later.

I have now uninstalled the app and will not use it until they resolve these issues, finally it does feel like they a=care more about features and making it look nice than fixing the underlying issues that make the app work.

Cheers
