Notification on new app

Since the new app download I have a notification but can't find what it's for! It's driving me mad! Anyone got any ideas why it's there?

This has still not been resolved, I have tried reinstalling app. The only suggestion given was to switch off notifications to get rid of it, but obviously I then wouldn’t be aware of any actual notifications. 
Until this is resolved I suggest you credit those on this message with a 20% discount on contract.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling multiple time with no resolve to the problem.

1 have deleted, restarted phone, installed again and still can't stop that notification icon (for someone with OCD that drives me MAD)

I've noticed if I access my EE account online I always need to "hide" confirm address and confirm roaming costs, and I find it silly you need to go this every single time you use online account. I suggest you select confirm you acknowledge and that’s it gone. I suspect this is what’s causing the new app to generate a notification. Just my 2 cents

It’s incredible that a comms giant hasn’t sorted this after weeks of complaints. The answers I have seen are let’s see if the next update works!?!

I completely agree, I spent ages trying to resolve this and got no where.

I then asked for compensation for my wasted time, and was ignored. The chat service was always extremely busy and it was hours before connection with a person.

They then suggested just switching notifications off to avoid the issue.

The whole thing has been completely mismanaged by ee, I understand a blanket compensation would cause them issues, but surely should be available to those that spent hours trying to resolve this.

I suggest at least three months basic contracted amount as compensation would be adequate for me.

Updated app on 13/10/22. Problem still there. So am altogether poor update from your EE app team. I have emailed Kevin Bacon and he’s not happy. He suggests you get right on it..

Updated yesterday hoping to have sorted the notification and it’s still there. Come on ee please sort it out.
