Incorrect phone number shown

I logged into my account - an my mobile number number was incorrect. I tried to change it but the code was sent to the incorrect number. Is this a problem?

Welcome to the community.

When you say the number was incorrect when you logged in, was this in the EE app/website?

Is the number correct on your phone itself and when you call and text out?

My mobile number is also showing incorrectly on my profile. How can I change it?  Jerry

Welcome to our community.

If this is your contact number showing incorrectly, you should be able to change it in the profile section which is the icon on the top right of the app, then 'personal details'.

I have the same problem which no-one has managed to sort out even by ringing Plusnet who said they had corrected it for me and had not. Have you solved your problem yet?

I am also receiving texts to a non-smart phone about a move to EE from Plusnet and I cannot find any way of making them use email or the postal service.  I am desperate as move is imminent for lanldline and broadband.
