Trying to see my data usage over the last few months using the web page https://myaccount.ee.co.uk/app/usage-since-latest-bill is very confusing.
eg
1) There are entries such as "24.98 GB used of null null". What does the null null mean?
2) Other entries say things such as "110.7 GB used of 120 GB", but I am on unlimited data so where is the "of 120Gb" coming from?
2) It is impossible to sort the entries into a meaningful order as the website programmer has made the elementary mistake of sorting dates alphabetically instead of chronologically.
So if, for example, I sort ascending by 'Expires On' date I get 19 April, 19 Jul, 19 Jun, 19 May instead of 19 Apr, 19 May, 19 Jun, 19 Jul, This applies to all the sortable columns.
3) Every time I try to see my itemised usage I get "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later."
Any ideas how to get meaningful data from this page?

2) is probably your giftable data. On a 5G plan it is the 1st 120GB of all your data that may be gifted to other nos. on your a/c.

Why should that matter regarding how EE displays the data usage and how it sorts dates alphabetically instead of chronologically?
As it happens it is used in a 4G antenna to get broadband in a remote location.

I have no idea what giftable data is and as far as I know I am on a 4G plan. Certainly don't need 5G as at the location where the sim is used I need a parabolic antenna just to get a usable 4G signal, let alone 5G.

Can anyone help out with this data usage page?

Hi @airwave,
@XRaySpeX is correct in saying the 120GB refers to your giftable allowance. Find out more in How do I gift my data and set controls?
The null description displayed instead of an allowance is because the plan you are using is unlimited.
We appreciate your feedback and will make sure it is passed on to the My EE team.

I'm afraid even knowing what giftable data is still doesn't answer my original questions.
Why are the dates sorted alphabetically instead of chronologically, as would make sense if you want to compare your data usage month on month?
Why does attempting to see my itemised data always just show an error?
Why some months show me x Gb of 120Gb (even if the 120 GB is giftable data, which I don't care about as I am on unlimited), but other times show me x Gb of null null?
I could understand it if it said x Gb of unlimited, but 'x Gb of null null' looks like another programming error.
Is there any way to ask EE directly for help? I'm grateful for the replies so far but asking other users on this forum is a bit like the blind leading the blind and does little to get EE to acknowledge and correct the website faults.

Hi @airwave,
I'm part of the EE Community Support Team and I'll be passing your feedback directly to our My EE Team.
To raise a support ticket for the issue where you see an error message when viewing your itemised usage, please get in touch with Technical Support.
Thanks
James

Sadly this has always been an issue on EE's Unlimited Data Plans, even going back to the older T Mobile UL Data Plans, the actual User is totally unaware on how much Data is being or been used at anyone time. Especially given the fact that EE have a relatively low Data FUP of 600Gb, the User has no control or knowledge from EE Enquiry Methods until the FUP has been hit with potential Speed Capping then being enforced.
I would have thought this must be a relatively easy fix for EE, as being a User on Virgin Mobile UL Data Plans (when Virgin used the EE Network) either the Virgin App or Web Access would tell you in real time what has been used and how much Data is remaining from the FUP ie, xxx Data used from 2048 Gb. as Virgin was an MVNO of EE that information would have had to come from EE somehow.
@airwave the only advice I can offer, as you dont Gift Data, is to just ignore the 100 or in your case 120gb Gifting Allowance, what this is really tell you is you have used up 120gb in your Monthly Period. In terms of keeping track and to avoid the 600Gb FUB set the Device up for its own Data Usage Stats as a way of Monitoring.
