Gift data feature not working

Have been gifting data on the website now for over 2 years, from my partner's unused data to my phone. I've been doing this weekly as I'm lazy and can't be bothered to change anything.

 

It has not worked for 4 days now, I just get an error saying ee are working on it. 

Can't use app, my phone won't let me install it.

 

So what's my choices here as I really can't be bothered to sit on the phone to EE.

Hi, I had the same issue, I've always logged into my Account via the website, then recently started getting the same error notice when trying to gift date to my partners line - I've re-installed then App instead and it's finally worked for me. Another person on here mentioned maybe deleting your browser cache/re-installing the App again too - hope it works for you👍

Hey same issue, I use website not app.

Welcome to the community.

I'm disappointed to hear that you're all of a sudden having issues with data gifting. 

Are you having the same problems when using your main account online

Can you try a different device or web browser to see if this helps?

I desperately need to update my mobile data, but every time I try to I am told this 'sorry this data cannot be shown on this device try later'????????? I have been updating my data via gift data so for several years via the EE website through my browser and only once or twice has this been a problem. Given that my mobile is my only form of communication and I am paying through the nose for my EE account I would like this resolved asap! Can anyone help?

Is it just a web browser you have tried this on or do you get the same problem on the app?

I have been having problems with this all day and I cannot transfer any data. I deleted the app, reinstalled, tried on safari and chrome browsers and still doesn’t work. Keep getting same message:

Hi @VParekh 

Thanks for trying those things. If that hasn't resolved it, give our team a call on 150 who can look at moving the data for you.
