Finance options changed

I've been looking at getting one of the TVs on finance. I looked at the beginning of the month, and it allowed me to select up to 48 months repayment option with a deposit on the tv. I didn't have the deposit at the time. Waited a week, went to purchase the tv, but it was out of stock. Now that its back in stock, the website will only allow me to apply for a 9 month finance contract, and the app doesn't even load the finance options (I left it open and trying to load for 20 minutes and gave up). Is there a reason that it won't allow me to select longer than 9 months. It does if I select a highest price tv.

Have read someone else had the same problem, not sure why that is happening, but I would suggest speaking to customer service, they should be able to sort it out for you, I am sure that there is a simple explanation why this is happening to you.

Would you be able to confirm which TV you are seeing this on, and pop through a screenshot of the finance options you're seeing?

I was looking at the sony Bravia 8, as I said in the post it allowed me before it went out of stock 2 weeks ago, to select more than 9 months, but no longer now. I've attached 2 screenshots, one stating the oringal price that I can pay monthly (advertised before adding to basket) and then one showing the finance options once its in the basket. I did speak to an EE rep online and they said that I need to contact the finance team, but when I did this, they said that its not their end for the problem.Screenshot 2026-06-02 163320.jpg

@Raggamuffin1986 Thanks for providing that information and the screenshots. We have fed this back to our support team to investigate the change in the available finance length.

Thanks, will there be a response to this thread when its been investigated, or should I just check in a day or two?

Hopefully it will be sorted soon. Wife wants to watch her home team, scotland lose in the world cup, and as a good english husband, I thought what better way than in a better tv than the one we have 🤣

@Raggamuffin1986 Just wanted to let you know I have been updated that this should be fixed now for those products that were effected. It looks like the Sony Bravia 8 is unfortunately out of stock at the moment though I appreciate you might have went with a different option by now anyway, but just wanted to provide an update and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
