Evening Maintenance on the App AGAIN!

We have only just switched to EE a month ago and one of the selling points  for us was the control we would have with the App as advertised. Having 3 teenagers and a 12 year to police we hoped this would help to make our lives a bit easier. I have just logged in to turn off the internet to be greated with a message saying I cannot access the App as it is down for maintenance (again!) This is the fourth time in as many weeks that I have tried  to log on in the evening and had the same mesaage. 

I appreciate maintenance needs to happen but why can't it be done later as this rubbishes all your hyoe about controlling kids internet at bed time.

Very disappointed so far, extremely under whelmed on what we were sold.

If you have any problems logging into the app today to manage your account, please get in touch with our tech guides and they can get this looked into for you.

If you have any problems logging into the app today to manage your account, please get in touch with our tech guides and they can get this looked into for you.

@Ralph_Jolly  You can setup rules so it automatically switches on/off at the times you choose. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Problem is late evening is the peak time parents of teenagers need the access to the parental controls on the app and as said this being the reason we moved to EE after seeing your adverts about parental control.

I know this but I also wanted flexability. And the app going down at 10pm multiple days in a month doesn't give me that.

@Ralph_Jolly   While I do appreciate what you’re saying as I’ve been there and done that and this was before such things as being able to do such WiFi controls,  I’m not implying anything here but I didn’t pass over any parenting responsibilities to a  feature thats offered.   Yes this does make this easier but it’s not the only option available to limit screen time.

Congratulations on your wonderful parenting. The world has moved on my friend and being sold a service and not being able to use at a time their adverts suggest is not good. 

Now can someone advise me is it possible to block busy body users?
