How are we supposed to GIFT DATA to our family if we can’t use the app for a week ?

@Me999  Clear the device cache and try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.   You can always access your online account to gift data 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Do you see an error message when trying to gift data?

Are you using the My EE app or My EE online when trying to process this?

How do. I gift data to family.  Why did you change without proper guidelines for service users

Welcome to the community. 

Are you able to try logging in to your My EE account online rather than the app to see if you can complete a data gift?

I am another user who is having issues using the gifting service. It tells me I have no data to gift but I have an unlimited package. This is the first time it has failed. I have deleted the app reloaded the app etc etc but the problem persists. As an aside I also tried to look at my statement and that was also unavailable. Maybe you have a general system fault you would rather not admit to😀
