Can’t remove EE notification from app

I’ve got a notification showing on the EE app and I can’t remove it, there’s nothing in the app I can do to remove it.

I’ve turned off notifications and turn them back on again and this doesn’t solve the issue. I’ve removed the app and reinstalled and that didn’t help.

What I have noticed though, When I go to the help section and click on message us, in the top left-hand corner, it has a back arrow with a red circle indicating that I have a notification if I press the arrow with the notification it takes me to a search menu and it doesn’t get rid of it.

I can only presume this is a bug with the app.

A small number of customers are seeing a notification on their EE app. We are investigating why this notification is displaying incorrectly, and we’re working to fix this.

Have the same problem. Red dot with number one in it. Can’t get rid.

There has just been an update for the app. Did the update. Red dot gone 😃

Brilliant went to my apps clicked update and bingo it worked!

I’ve got same problem (I hate notification I can’t check showing!).  
I deleted app and re installed to get newest version as no possible update listed, notification still there!!!
