Can't link EE pay go SIM to EE account

I have received a pay as you go sim card by post. When I select to link it to my existing EE account online, it says there is an error linking and to try again later. When I try later, I get the same error. 

The pay as you go sim card is showing signal and can make calls etc.

Good Day

Please may I have some assistance at some point as I am having the same issue of not being able to link my Pay As You Go sim card to my EE account.

Just today I have activated the Sim card by inserting it into my phone and then have created an EE account. After this I went to link the sim card to the account, but no success. I receive the error message "We're having trouble linking your products".

If you could help me, it would much appreciated.
