Hi EE whoever. I am trying to pay the extremely high bills from you each month. Im on benefits. Has Donald Trump put a tarrif on my phone bill I wasn't told about. I have been with EE for years now. Im not staying. When the year is up and Im due to normally get a new model of phone. Im leaving EE. Your charges are so so high. I get nothing for my loyalty of always coming back. I sit in a shiny EE shop with a EE member of staff who tells me he/she can offer me this fantastic plan, I listen attentively thinking, oh this sounds good. I dont have any fancy extras just a straightforward plan....and I leave with my great EE plan and my new shiny new phone, a smile on my face, thinking, yeah EE is the one to be with......then BANG! It starts. The price hikes, up and up and up.....Im done. As soon as this contract is up
That's it
I don't know who even reads these posts. But I have got this off my chest. Im disgusted, confused and also shocked how you get away with this daylight robbery.

Prices on handsets go up every year and yes tariffs on countries which manufacture handsets will increase prices in the longer term until manufacturing moves or reduced tariffs are agreed.
You need to consider if you really new handset and maybe just a new SIM only plan with the additional benefits they now bring is more economic than a shiny new handset every year. As you say you're on benefits and cost is important.
Thanks

@Haveyougot10p : Have you considered EE's social tariff for mobile plans, EE Basics | EE Social Mobile Tariff ?
If you're having difficulty paying your bill on time you need to contact CS urgently to come to a repayment arrangement - see Help if you can't pay your bill

Others have said it, but I'll repeat it - having the "latest & greatest" at the end of your minimum-term does come with some cost-implications. Changing to a SIM-only plan can substantially reduce your monthly costs whilst retaining the exact same phone & network service.
This advice applies equally to all networks.
