Does anyone know of the new EE WiFi 7 router supports digital voice?
I am considering upgrading to 1.6Gbps now that EE offers a router that can support the faster speeds over ethernet. But when I look at the website, it tells me digital voice isn't available with the service. Is that because the new router doesn't support it?

@Katie_B, are there any updates on this yet? I really want to upgrade to 1.6Gbps with the Black Friday deals, but can't loose my landline number.

Still the same I'm afraid, would be better going with a dedicated VOIP provider as you were considering before. Would probably be good to have it independent of any ISP system going forward, probably the way forward, personally not too sure as I gave up a home phone as well when going to FTTP but it makes some sense.

Thanks @Matt_124.
I think it might be time to move on from EE altogether once my contract ends, to be honest. This was always my worry when BT started to brand EE as a consumer service, and operate consumer and business divisions separately: having a separate consumer and business service just leads to substandard service for consumers. Businesses wouldn't tolerate that, so it's best to be with a company who has everyone on one network whether they are a business or a consumer. Imagine if BT Business launched a product that didn't allow subscribers to have a telephone...!!
