Digital Voice problem

Hi my phone was working ok on digital voice connected to my router now when the phone rings when i answer it its dead . When i try to ring out there is no dial tone and the line is silent.Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

@Highpeakblue 1st step is just to switch the router off, leave for a few minutes and switch it back on, then see if the fault on the phone clears.
