Still can't block landline no.'s on the Mobile app under Call Protect

I logged a case with EE some to weeks ago. I can't add blocked no.'s received on my home phone through the EE app ( BT Call Protect).  I used to be able to, but now a permanent msg on EE  comes up 'We can't load this info. It's not your fault, it's ours. Try again later'

EE contacted me to thank me for the entry, but suggested I call EE to lodge the issue.??? It's the 'Zebadee' issue again. Round & round on the roundabout. The promised bug fix didn't happen which should have resolved this issue. There was an update released a week later, but it didn't fix this one. Still says Try again later'.

So back on the roundabout again. Disappearing....up....wherever it takes me. Does anybody know what their doing behind the scenes in techland? V good at making promises though.

'ME TO' as they say.

Reported to EE Tech Support on 04/06/25 that I couldn't block calls received on my digital home phone through my mobile EE app. I could once upon a time.  Got an EE job ref no. and was advised after much toing and froing to tech support supervisor that a bug fix and update would be coming out on or around 10 or 11 June 2025.

They (EE) are aware of this fault/issue ie  when in to the CALL PROTECT/MANAGE option, then select Block Numbers, the screen loads with the following message:

- 'WE CAN'T LOAD THIS INFORMATION'  It's not your fault, it's ours. Try Again or come back a little later when we've fixed things.

How long can the phrase ........ 'come back a little later be expected to last, it's been months without any result or fix.

If EE offer this option on Manage Your Home Phone/Call Protect, then why not make sure it actually works, it did once, What's gone wrong?

Hi @JammerJ0y4a11,

Welcome back to the Community!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue, and it hasn't ben resolved as quickly as you would like. It does sound like th team are working hard on a fix, however, and I'm sure they will have this resolved as swiftly as possible.

I have had this issue for ages , for nearly a year, ever since I moved to EE from BT. The system worked fine on BT app and you would have thought the EE app would work given that its the same company. I reported it several times, kept being told that it was a known bug and would be fixed soon. Never has and still not working despite deleting and reloading app on the ipad from where I manage everything. Ee seem useless in repairing a major feature given the scam calls we get. I t was a promised feature  on my migration from BT, as wished by that part of the company.  As soon as my broadband fixed term is over I will look at moving from EE. I have Swish fibre outside and they have promised free connection.
