Transferring a number

Hello,  I’ve just ordered a new sim & phone plan, but I want to keep my current number. How do I do this? I am currently a customer of EE. Also, do I need to cancel my sim only plan or will it cancel automatically??

The site has been down for days now and it's the only convenient way I can pay my bill which is now overdue which I don't like. Made a special trip in my lunch break today into store, only to be told, couldn't help as 20 mins minimum wait. Waste of e...
