Upgrading and avoiding tariff increase

Hi,

An EE store advisor told me that if I upgrade within the 30 days before the planned tariff increases at the end of the month then I won't have my monthly bill increased.

Is this correct as I don't want to take a new tariff within my budget only to find it rise by 14% in a few weeks.

@ShaneWolf1   If you upgraded now you’ll not get the price increase this year.
