I have always been charged extra money by EE unknowingly that my child has been purchasing google apps not until I was charged a huge amount of 297 in the month of may 2025. I really need a refund.

@Ma179 : You'll need to take that up with Google Play.

@Ma179
Do you possibly have another Google account that is also set to bill through EE?
You may need to contact Google directly or help with identifying which google account the purchases were made on.

I have exactly the same problem. I've never authorised any other payment to go through EE. My daughter has topped up the same amount on Google play. I've checked her phone and there is no authorisation to charge Google play, yet it has been added to my account. She has learning difficulties and does not understand the concept of authorising payments
Did you get anywhere with Google play?

I have had the same problem. My daughter, age 6, spent over £1000 over a 2-day period this Xmas 2025. I contacted Google Play, they referred me to Paypal and then they referred me to Roblox. In the end, they all refused to give me my money back. I asked the bank to get a charge back and thankfully they did. However, £123 went through my EE account that is directly linked to Google play. I contacted Google Play and said refer back to EE.. ee also said they can't do anything and have me referred back to google. ITS ALL A SCAM TO GET YOUR MONEY USING CHILDREN AS A TOOL. There should be a law against this. I will not be renewing my account with ee after being with them for over 10 years. They Are usless and can not help, BE WARNED

@clivesangling EE are not charging you they as only the payment method. You take this up with the whoever is charging you via your mobile bill. You are also responsible for controlling your child’s spending habits. Perhaps setting up personal controls on the device is a better option and you should be looking at this. you then need to approve everything first.

But it was exactly what you experienced. So it can't be that far are.
