Hi,
I switched away from EE in June, and have no outstanding bills and, as far as i knew, everything was fine. This morning i saw a SIM only deal good enough to tempt me back, but when i tried to order it i was told i couldn't as i already had an account with EE (even though it's dormant).
Is there anyway to get this account closed and a new one opened, or a way i can get the order to go through using this existing account? I've already spoken to a guy in EE's order team and he couldn't help.

Call CS to remove your old dormant a/c.
Don't login to your MyEE before going to the EE Shop. It expects you to already have an EE mobile phone or SIM contract.

Is there a specific number perchance or do I just have to ring the general CS number and hope I get the right department? Do you know how long after account removal I’d have to wait before trying to purchase?
